The Germantown Mobile DJ knows what methods of service represent quality, and he has great consideration of the importance of your wedding reception and your family. He will do what is necessary to assure his part of your event is very successful. Germantown Mobile DJ takes personal pride in helping enhance a special moment that should be remembered fondly. It is an honor to be included in your event. But, We Just Can't Avoid Talking About Cost Prices are very reasonable and sometimes negotiable. Considering the vast music inventory and grade of equipment, fees are extremely competitive. The selection of a DJ is just like anything else, you get what you pay for. Every set-up will provide enough sound and lighting, from a small room arrangement to large hotel ballrooms in the greater Memphis and Shelby County Area. Prices are outlined below which is highly unusual for a DJ web site. No surprises here! Pricing always includes primary and backup amplifiers, decks, mixers, dance floor lighting, wired and/or wireless mic's, one to four pair of speaker enclosure arrangements depending upon your room size, and always a LARGE amount of legal copyrighted music. Flat rates - no per hour charges and no extra for lights to "nickel-dime" you to death For Weekends: Typically $650 for any amount of time up to 5 hours (1). Holidays and Downtown Locations are slightly higher. Some charge more for greater than 3 hours! However, the Germantown Mobile DJ figures that he's already there, so what's another hour? Additional time beyond 5 hours can be arranged. New Years Eve: $850 (1) for any amount of time up to 5 hours! A $300 non refundable deposit (deducted from total cost) is required for New Years Eve. Additional time beyond 6 hours can be arranged. Monday through Thursday, not on a Holiday: $550 (1) for up to 4 hours. "All Day" and "All Weekend" rates are available. Of course, prices will be dependent upon event requirements, conditions, and everyone's skills at the "art of negotiation". Bars/clubs/halls have a different price structure. This type of work sounds like a real job, and of course that has different criteria and pricing. For remote locations requiring a power generator: add $175. Minimum $200 deposit is required for normal jobs: and it's fully refundable up to 90 days before event. Sorry, no refunds within 90 days of the scheduled event. (of course, the deposit is deducted from the total cost). Balance can be paid at event. (1) Costs can be more if venue access is limited or is difficult for moving equipment in and out, ie. stairs, outside of the greater Memphis/Shelby County Area, limited or no reasonable vehicular access, etc. Other things to consider: No hidden charges. Lifting equipment up flight(s) of stairs, downtown Memphis, excessive travel distance, etc. can present an additional cost. Normal Set-Up and Tear-Down is always part of your flat rate. No surprises. Germantown Mobile DJ, usually with his mighty assistant Pat, works the contracted event! (unless of course, one of my kids is getting married too, death in family, etc.,that kind of stuff). However, if there is an emergency or other reason I can not fulfill my obligation, I will work to help identify another DJ of like quality and capability.
